The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives an opportunity to get to know each other. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. Alpha is supported by all the main Christian denominations. The next course will be held on Friday evenings and starts on 29 January 2010.
The Alpha course meets in the Ferguson Hall from 6.45 pm – 9.30 pm. The evening begins with a meal followed by a talk and a small group session which gives the opportunity for questions, expressing opinions and discussing the topic of the evening.
The course is ideal for anyone who wants to know more about the Christian Faith and/or anyone who would like to enquire into what Christianity really means. It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.
