Facilities for the Disabled

We offer facilities to help those with a disability to enter into the full life of the church. Please contact us if you feel there is anything we can do to help make our church life inclusive for everyone.

Access – The main entrance to the church building offers level access which is suitable for wheelchairs and people with poor mobility. There are two steps at the front of the church sanctuary leading to the pulpit and rear entrance to the church. There are several steps up to the pulpit. The side entrance to the church, and the Taylor Room, is also level access. There are stairs leading from the vestibule to a meeting room and office. The entrance to the church halls is also level access – the Watson Hall, Ferguson Hall and side rooms are on the ground floor. A flight of stairs leads to the  Wesley Room.

Toilet Facilities – There are toilets, suitable for use by someone with a disability, located in the vestibule of the church and in the halls.

Loop Facility – The public address system features a loop system that caters for individuals using a hearing aid.

Recordings – Both the morning and evening services are recorded for people to listen to the service at home. The recordings are in digital format and are available as mp3 files or on CD. They can be downloaded from the Resources section of the website.

Large Print – There are large print copies of the Hymns and Psalms Hymn Book available on request.
