The 7th NI Sydenham Methodist Girls Brigade is a Christian, uniformed organization for girls of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
We meet on Thursday nights for a programme of fun activities. All girls are very welcome!
Age groups & meeting times:
- Explorers 3 – 7 years old – 6.00 – 7.30 pm
- Juniors 8 – 10 years old – 6.30 – 8.15 pm
- Seniors 11 – 13 years old – 7.30 – 9.30 pm
- Brigaders 14 – 18 years old – 7.30 – 9.30 pm
Our programme is designed to educate, challenge and inspire young girls, and is split into 4 main areas: – Spiritual, Physical, Educational & Service. We go on outings, and the 8 years upwards go camping. We invite people to come and share their experiences with us e.g. missionaries, pop dancers, puppeteers. We attend District Parades and enter District Competitions.
