The Mission Statement of the church states what our vision is for the work of the church and all our members as well as how we reach out to the community.
Sydenham Methodist Church exists to:
WORSHIP – by providing Christian services, teaching, nurture and fellowship
WITNESS – by proclaiming saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
WORK – by demonstrating the love of God within our local community and in the interests of the wider world.
Rev Karen Spence will be the preacher at both services at 11.00 am and 7.00 pm. We will celebrate Holy Communion at the evening service.
We give a warm welcome to anyone wanting to visit our church and spend time in fellowship with us. Please make yourself known to the minister or door stewards.
The next Revelation Worship Night will be on Friday 10 September 2010 at 8.00 pm.
Sunday 26 September 2010 is ‘Back to Church Sunday’.
