Prayer in Sydenham

There are many opportunities for prayer in Sydenham such as prayer for special and urgent needs, prayer triplets and regular informed prayer for Irish World Methodism.

Opportunities for Prayer – all take place in the Taylor Room

  • Sunday evening at 6.30 pm
  • 3rd Sunday of every month at 10.00 am
  • Wednesday evening during the Bible Study Fellowship at 7.30 pm

Prayer Ministry – at the end of each service members of the Prayer Ministry team are available to pray with anyone who feels in need of prayer. The Prayer Ministry area is located in the vestry.

Prayer for Special and Urgent Needs – a prayer network operates to send messages quickly. To make a prayer request contact Rev Karen Spence. For organisational details contact Jack and Rita Boyce.

Prayer Triplets – small groups of people meet once a week or fortnight for prayer and fellowship.

Regular Informed Prayer for Irish World Methodism – an annual prayer focus is available.

The men are invited to meet for breakfast on Saturday 25 May in Belmont Tower Cafe at 9.10 am.

Rev Karen Spence will be the preacher at both services at 11.00 am and 7.00 pm.  We give a warm welcome to anyone wanting to visit our church and spend time in fellowship with us. Please make yourself known to the minister or door stewards.
