The minister has primary responsibility for the pastoral care of the members of the congregation. His priorities are those who are ill at home or in hospital, those who have been recently bereaved and those facing personal crises, such as marital problems, pending unemployment or spiritual issues. There is a team of over thirty Congregational Visitors. Each visits a number of homes in the congregation three or four times each year. They often do so at the time when they deliver the Church Magazine. Pastoral care also happens in many other ways such as through prayer ministry & the prayer network, and through the house group and other times of fellowship.
