Scouts

The 9th Belfast (East) Scout Group encourages the physical, spiritual and mental development of young people with a modern programme of fun, games, crafts and life-skills. We provide indoor and outdoor activities and adventurous opportunities. With a varied choice of skills badges and challenging projects we provide many experiences to give all our members a chance to develop their own talents and potential.

Meeting times and age groups are:

  • Squirrels – Wednesday 6.30 – 7.30 pm Ages 4 – 6
  • Beavers – Tuesday 6.30 – 7.45 pm  Ages 6 – 8
  • Cubs – Tuesday 6.30 – 7.45 pm  Ages 8 – 10 1/2
  • Scouts – Tuesday 7.30 – 9.00 pm  Ages 101/2 – 141/2
  • Explorer Scouts (Boys & Girls) – Tuesday 7.30 – 9.00 pm  Ages 141/2 – 18

    Roger McKay (Frontiers Ireland) will be the speaker at our ‘World Church Partnership Sunday’ morning service at 11.00 am. The evening service at 7.00 pm will be led by Rev Robin Waugh.
